Meet Our founder

"I want women to have the audacity to pursue whatever they want. Fashion is one way we express our boldness and our power."
— Laion Towah, Founder & CEO

I started LAION because I wanted women to have fun getting dressed again. I wanted more color, more personality, and more pieces that make you smile the moment you put them on. Life is already serious enough. Fashion can remind us to celebrate ourselves.

Outside of fashion, I'm equally passionate about expanding opportunities for women and girls. I earned my master's degree from Georgetown University, and I founded the Deiyan Foundation to combat menstrual poverty and increase access to education and health resources. Whether I'm designing a dress or building programs through the foundation, the mission is the same: to help women move through the world with more confidence, more opportunity, and yes, a little more audacity.
